spl_levels#

pulserver.ir.spl_levels()[source]#

Return the sound pressure levels of each file of a chain, in the physical frame.

Each file’s loudest repetition is rotated by rotation after each block’s own rotation and filtered by the acoustic transfer function of limits, as pypulseqpp.safety.check_spl does; the sequences are not changed.

Parameters:

  • seq_path – The first file of the chain.

  • system – Source of the gyromagnetic ratio.

  • limits – The acoustic transfer function.

  • designed – The chain as pulserver.mrd.designed_chain() returns it, read in place of the files.

  • rotation – (3, 3) prescription rotation from logical to physical axes; the identity by default.

Returns:

One per file, in play order.

Return type:

list of SplLevels

Raises:

ValueError – If limits carries no acoustic transfer function, a file of the chain cannot be read, or rotation is not orthonormal.
