SSFPEchoReadout#

torchsim.SSFPEchoReadout(phase_rad=0.0, *, duration_s=0.0, role=AdcRole.SINGLE, is_echo=True)[source]#

Return one unbalanced gradient, then the sample the echo forms at.

The repetition’s other sample. An unbalanced train winds every order on once per repetition, so the order the next pulse would refocus sits at zero once the gradient has played – which is where this reads it, and what makes the sample an echo of the previous excitation rather than a free induction decay after this one. It is the strongly T2-weighted half of a reversed-FISP pair, and it takes the same ideal winding SSFPFidReadout() does, in the other order.

duration_s is what is left of the repetition after the sample.
