bartorch.mip()#

Maximum or minimum intensity projection over axes, which are kept as size one.

Only real parts are compared and returned; the imaginary part of the output is zero. The maximum starts from zero, so a projection whose real parts are all negative is zero.

Parameters:
  • input (torch.Tensor) – Array to project.

  • axes (int or tuple of int) – Axes projected over.

  • minimum (bool, default=False) – Minimum rather than maximum intensity projection.

  • magnitude (bool, default=False) – Project the magnitude instead of the real part.

Returns:

input.shape with size one along axes.

Return type:

torch.Tensor
